Touro University is seeking a Fourth Year Coordinator for Clinical Rotations in Great Falls, MT. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Education and the Clinical Dean, managing rotation forms, schedules, and student files.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the student and the Department of Clinical Education
  • Serve as the initial/primary point of contact for the student(s)
  • Communicate with students and clinical sites regarding student schedules and student performance evaluations
  • Communicate with individual preceptors to coordinate rotation opportunities
  • Regularly follow-up with students regarding missing student performance evaluations
  • Respond to a high volume of emails in a timely manner
  • Assure that all matters reported by students and/or the clinical rotation sites/hospital are communicated to the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Dean
  • Verify and complete onboarding paperwork for clinical rotations across various platforms and applications
  • Establish and maintain student tracking software (New Innovations) for student schedules
  • Participate in annual department review of forms and manuals
  • Responsible for form/documentation review and editing
  • Conduct and attend meetings with students regarding rotations, academic, and residency advisement
  • Create detailed spreadsheets tracking student information, clinical site details, and residency information
  • Collaborate and assist in administrative processes for the department with: Registrar, Grade Coordinator, Assessment Coordinator, Health Assessment Coordinator
  • Work within the team environment
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Overview

The Fourth Year Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Dean. The coordinator will be responsible for collecting and processing the clinical rotations forms, maintaining rotation schedules, and the data necessary to maintain the fourth-year clinical rotation student files.
