Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive technical direction for Palantir Foundry-based projects, shaping architecture, standards, and practices across teams. This role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions with strong mentorship for engineers.

You will guide design reviews, promote reusable patterns, and coordinate cross-project planning while providing production support and clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience required. 8 years preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise applications, workflows, integrations, or platform-based solutions preferred
• Experience providing technical direction for complex application engineering efforts preferred
• Experience reviewing technical designs, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering practices preferred
• Experience with Palantir Foundry preferred
• Agentic development experience
• Bachelor's degree required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Certifications/Licenses: None required.
• Travel: This position requires <10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for Palantir applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Establish and promote reusable engineering patterns, coding practices, testing expectations, documentation standards, and support models for Foundry-based applications across project teams.
• Guide use of Foundry capabilities (Workshop, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Functions, Actions, Code Repositories, security/access management, lineage, deployment patterns).
• Review complex designs and code, identify risks, challenge weak approaches, ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to engineers to raise team capability.
• Identify dependencies and cross-team impacts; align delivery with project priorities.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for production issues; lead root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Communicate technical options, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to business users, tech teams, vendors, and leadership.
