Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen seeks a senior engineering leader to drive technical direction for Palantir Foundry projects in Los Angeles. You will shape architecture, enforce engineering standards, and enable platform-wide reuse.

Responsibilities include leading design reviews, mentoring engineers, and coordinating cross-project delivery while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability across enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering leadership or architecture
• Experience developing enterprise applications, workflows, integrations, or platform-based solutions preferred
• Experience providing technical direction for complex application engineering efforts preferred
• Experience reviewing technical designs, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering practices preferred
• Experience with Palantir Foundry preferred
• Agentic development experience

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for Palantir applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Define implementation approaches and guide architecture decisions with emphasis on security, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Establish and promote reusable engineering patterns, coding practices, testing expectations, and documentation standards for Foundry-based applications.
• Guide use of Foundry capabilities (Workshop, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Functions, Actions, Code Repositories, security/access management, lineage, deployment patterns).
• Review complex designs and code, identify risks, challenge weak approaches, ensure alignment with business goals and long-term support.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to engineers to raise team capability.
• Identify dependencies and cross-team impacts; align technical delivery with project priorities.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for production issues; lead root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Communicate technical options, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to business users and leadership.
