Featherless AI is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our North America team as the technical counterpart to the founding Account Executive. You will own discovery, POCs, benchmarks, and security answers, while demonstrating the value of open models in Featherless against incumbents.

You will build demos, migration paths to open weights, and reusable collateral, working hands-on in customers' stacks from first call to production rollout.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or a customer-facing engineering role.
• Hands-on Python and building demos.
• Experience with modern LLM inference stacks and pricing models.
• Familiar with open-model ecosystems: Hugging Face, open weights.
• Proficient with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud networking basics.
• Strong written communication and benchmark documentation.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical discovery: map prospect workloads, latency targets, spend and constraints.
• Design and drive POCs and benchmarks to prove Featherless against incumbents.
• Build the demo environment and reusable technical collateral for GTM.
• Own technical objection handling: performance, security, and cost modeling.
• Write technical sections of proposals, RFP responses, and security questionnaires.
• Support onboarding and first production workloads; hand off cleanly for expansion.
