Job summary

Featherless AI is hiring its first Sales Engineer to partner with the founding Account Executive in North America. You will own the technical win, conducting discovery, benchmarks, and live demos within the customer's stack from first call to production rollout.

You will create a scalable demo environment, a POC playbook, and security responses while shaping the GTM motion. The role demands hands-on Python, open-model expertise, and the ability to articulate risk and cost stories to CTOs and

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Hands-on Python development and ability to build demos.
• Practical knowledge of modern LLM inference serving and related tooling.
• Familiarity with open-model ecosystems and evaluation against incumbents.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical calls tailored to buyer stacks with architecture reviews and live demos.
• Design and drive migrations from closed APIs to open weights with evaluation plans.
• Run benchmarks to produce throughput, latency, and cost analyses supporting the business case.
• Create and maintain demo environments and reusable technical collateral.
• Produce technical sections of proposals and security questionnaires; provide ongoing support post-sale.
