Featherless AI is hiring its first Sales Engineer to partner with the founding Account Executive in North America. You will own the technical win, run discovery, design POCs, and build the demo environment and collateral.

You’ll handle performance, reliability, cost modeling, security, and data handling, shaping the GTM technical strategy from day one. You will collaborate with product and engineering to close complex deals, writing technical sections of proposals and ensuring successful

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales engineering or similar customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on: you write Python and build your own demos.
• Experience with modern LLM inference and serving stacks.
• Familiarity with the open-model ecosystem and Hugging Face weights.
• Strong written communication and ability to document technical details.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical calls tailored to buyers' stacks with architecture reviews and live demos.
• Build migration paths from closed APIs to open weights and plan cutovers.
• Run benchmarks and produce latency, throughput, and cost analyses.
• Scope and run POCs with clear success criteria and maintain tech collateral.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and security questionnaires.
