Job summary

Featherless AI is hiring its first Sales Engineer to pair with the founding AE in North America. You’ll own the technical win, conducting discovery, designing POCs, and building benchmarks in customers’ stacks.

You’ll ship demos, migration guides, and reusable collateral while handling security and cost concerns. You’ll be the first SE, shaping the GTM function and driving open-model adoption with the team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales engineering or related role.
• Hands-on Python and demo-building experience.
• Experience with modern LLM inference and serving stacks.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face and open-weight ecosystems.
• Containerization and cloud networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical calls tailored to each buyer's stack with live demos.
• Design and drive POCs and benchmarks showing open models vs incumbents.
• Build migration paths from closed APIs to open weights and plan cutover.
• Create reusable technical collateral and write proposals and security responses.
• Support onboarding and first production workloads, then hand off successfully.
• Provide field feedback to product and engineering to close gaps.
