Featherless.ai is hiring its first Sales Engineer to partner with the founding Account Executive in North America. You will be the technical owner on opportunities, running discovery, designing POCs, and building benchmarks to prove Featherless as a faster, cheaper, more reliable open-model inference platform.

You will craft a demo environment, migration paths, and technical collateral, owning objections on performance, security, and cost, while shaping the product roadmap with feedback from

Qualificações

• Hands-on: you write Python and build your own demos.
• Knowledge of modern LLM inference stacks and OpenAI-compatible APIs.
• Familiarity with open-weight ecosystems and model evaluation.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Strong written communication and ability to document technical details.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical calls tailored to buyer's stack with architecture reviews and demos.
• Build migration paths from closed-model APIs to open weights and plan cutovers.
• Run benchmarks to evaluate throughput, latency, and cost per token.
• Write technical sections of proposals and RFP responses; maintain reusable libraries.
• Support onboarding and first production workloads; hand off for expansion.
• Provide feedback to product/engineering on gaps and reliability issues.
