Job summary

Featherless AI is hiring its first Sales Engineer to partner with the founding AE in North America. You will own the technical win, map workloads, design POCs, and build benchmarks to prove open models are faster, cheaper, and more reliable.

You’ll create demo environments and collateral, handle security and cost questions, and drive adoption from first call through production rollout. You will join a small, motivated GTM team and influence product with frontline insights.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on Python and demo building experience.
• Knowledge of LLM serving stacks and OpenAI-compatible APIs.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face/open-weight ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical calls with buyers’ stack: architecture reviews and live demos.
• Design and run POCs and benchmarks proving Featherless vs incumbents.
• Build demo environment and reusable technical collateral for GTM.
• Write technical sections of proposals and security questionnaires.
• Own technical objection handling: performance, reliability, cost, security.
