Pure Interactive Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a founding recruiter for our New York office to build and run how we hire. You’ll own first-round interviews, assess culture fit, and sell Pure to top candidates while establishing onboarding and benefits processes.

You’ll combine recruiting, people ops, and operations, shaping a lean, effective people function in a fast-growing startup. This role requires hands-on energy and a strategic mindset in a dynamic, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (Ashby) and outbound sourcing (LinkedIn, JuiceBox).
• Strong judgment on culture fit and ability to sell a company to candidates.

Responsibilities

• Run first-round interviews across engineering, design, and go-to-market to assess culture and set expectations.
• Source candidates via outbound and maintain high inbound quality by channel discipline.
• Manage the candidate pipeline end-to-end in Ashby, including postings, stages, and communications.
• Help design and run interview processes (video screen, culture screen, technical round, founder final).
• Represent Pure externally at events and campus visits.
• Set up the people function operationally (benefits, onboarding, HR basics).
• Partner with founders and hiring managers on future hiring needs.
