Job summary

BranchLab is seeking a Founding Recruiter in Boulder, CO or New York City, NY. This full-time, on-site role partners with the CFO and hiring managers to build a scalable recruiting practice for engineering, data science, product, sales, and customer success.

You will own sourcing, screening, interviews, references and offers, and you will design repeatable recruiting processes with a focus on a respectful candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience owning full-cycle recruiting, including direct sourcing, candidate assessment, and offer closing.
• Experience recruiting for multiple roles across tech and business functions.
• Strong sourcing skills and personalized outreach.
• Experience with structured interviews, recruiting analytics, and interviewer training.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business roles, from kickoff to offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role priorities and evaluation criteria.
• Build candidate pipelines through outreach, referrals, and communities.
• Coordinate interviews and manage timely, transparent communication.
• Develop hiring tools, including job descriptions and scorecards.
• Maintain the ATS and use data to improve recruiting results.
• Explain market conditions and compensation expectations to managers.
• Improve BranchLab’s employer brand to attract top talent.
