Job summary

Airbase, based at our NYC HQ, seeks a first recruiting hire to build our hiring engine and own end-to-end recruiting across engineering, spectrum and domain experts. You will design the processes, implement ATS and sourcing tools, and partner with founders on compensation and equity decisions.

You will also wear other hats in people ops, employer branding, and recruiting events as the company scales. This is a core role with equity and significant ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience at a startup, high-growth company, or agency.
• Experience hiring technical roles, especially software engineers.
• Hands-on ATS management.
• Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Track record of running a full requisition load.
• Excellent communication and relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Build recruiting systems from scratch including ATS, sourcing tools, interview scorecards, offers, and reporting.
• Design repeatable interview processes with hiring managers and calibration docs.
• Track hiring metrics and report to leadership to improve the process.
• Own a full requisition load across engineering and domain experts.
• Source proactively for hard-to-find talent pools, including veterans and federal spectrum professionals.
• Provide candidates a fast, high-touch experience and manage offers and equity conversations.
• Wear other hats in People Ops, employer branding, and recruiting events.
