Job summary

Allocate is hiring its first dedicated, in-house technical recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our engineering, product, and design teams. You will partner directly with the founders, CTO, and engineering leaders to translate hiring needs into structured, repeatable processes across teams, and run full-cycle searches, including specialized roles.

This hands-on role also involves coaching hiring managers, managing external partners, and designing sourcing strategies—building and deploying

Qualifications

• 10+ years in talent acquisition across engineering, product, data/research, and design.
• Experience designing and deploying structured interviewing practices from scratch.
• Proven outbound sourcing for hard-to-find candidates using advanced search and market mapping.
• Experience evaluating AI-powered sourcing tools to extend a lean recruiting function.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, and design from scope to close.
• Design structured interview processes with guides, question banks, and scorecards.
• Coach hiring managers to build internal recruiting muscle and reduce overreliance on you.
• Manage external recruiting partners and agencies to ensure consistent process discipline.
• Lead advanced outbound sourcing to access passive candidates and niche roles.
• Build and own sourcing strategy with Boolean/direct search and AI tools.
• Shape Allocate’s employer brand and candidate materials to attract top talent.
• Collaborate with People team on workflows, reporting, and scalable processes.
• Champion inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate pipelines.
