Thomson Reuters in New York invites you to join as Lead Software Engineer for the CoCounsel Legal Mobile App, shaping the architecture and baseline engineering standards for iOS and Android. You will establish platform strategy, drive technical decisions, and contribute to delivering the product.

You will lead hands-on development, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product/Design to translate requirements into high-quality mobile experiences, while helping the broader engineering community.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience with deep iOS/Android development.
Experience leading mobile architecture decisions and engineering standards.
Proven track record shipping production mobile apps to real users.
Experience integrating mobile apps with cloud APIs including OAuth/SSO and file handling.

Responsibilities

Establish the technical foundation of the CoCounsel Legal mobile app, defining platform strategy and CI/CD.
Deliver hands-on engineering contributions across iOS and Android features.
Integrate mobile app with backend services and APIs.
Define and uphold mobile engineering standards, reviews, tests, performance benchmarks, accessibility.
