Job summary

Refinitiv is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the CoCounsel Legal Mobile App in a hybrid US role with delivery responsibilities and strategic architecture leadership. You will establish the mobile foundation, decide platform strategy, and lead a new mobile team while contributing production code.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, drive architecture, testing, accessibility, and performance, and shape an enterprise mobile experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with iOS and/or Android.
• Led technical direction for mobile products — architecture decisions and standards.
• Delivered production mobile apps to real users.
• Experience with cloud APIs, streaming, authentication, and file handling.
• Strong mobile UX sense and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Establish the technical foundation of the CoCounsel Legal mobile app, including platform strategy and CI/CD.
• Deliver hands-on iOS/Android code across core features.
• Integrate mobile app with backend and AI/Agent services.
• Define and uphold mobile engineering standards and code reviews.
• Mentor mobile engineers and collaborate with product and design.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate requirements into reliable experiences.
