Job summary

Wordsmith is hiring a senior GTM engineer to own the GTM stack, data model, and integrations across CRM, marketing automation, sales tools, and the website. You will build signal-based pipelines and AI agents to scale GTM work while ensuring trust, governance, and cross-team collaboration.

As the founding GTM engineering member, you will partner with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, shaping the tooling budget and driving measurable growth outcomes in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building GTM systems at a B2B software company or equivalent.
• Production-quality Python or JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation and sales data models.
• Ability to turn growth problems into executable systems.
• Clear communication with non-technical teams and ability to influence adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the GTM stack and roadmap, optimize tooling budget and vendor relations.
• Own the data model and ensure CRM is trusted source of truth with defined stages/attribution.
• Build integrations across CRM, marketing automation, sales tools, website and product usage data.
• Own website systems: forms, tracking, routing, personalization and experimentation to drive pipeline.
• Build signal-based pipelines: scoring, enrichment, intent and product-usage signals.
• Develop AI agents for GTM tasks and evaluate human review requirements.
• Ensure systems are trustworthy with test, monitor and data governance.
