Job summary

Magic in New York is hiring a founding GTM engineer to own the data, tools, and AI agents powering our go-to-market motion. You’ll build the internal systems used by sales, marketing, and growth to target, engage, and convert restaurant operators across venues.

You’ll report to the Head of Growth and collaborate with founders and customer teams to ship practical, scalable solutions that drive pipeline and revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in GTM engineering, demand gen, or RevOps.
• Background in marketing and growth preferred.
• Experience with data enrichment providers and processes.
• You can build distributed systems.
• Experience running programmatic outbound at scale with good deliverability.
• Hands-on with Claude and Clay; build workflows and tools beyond prompts.
• Strong data-quality mindset and ownership.
• Bonus: experience in or around restaurants or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage internal GTM platform and data enrichment processes.
• Develop programmatic outbound, including cold email, targeting, sequencing, and reply handling, plus deliverability infrastructure.
• Own lead scoring and lifecycle automations from first touch to expansion.
• Build tools to support sales and customer experience, like context transfer layers and meeting schedulers.
• Collaborate with marketing and growth to turn data into campaigns, events, and programs; support SEO/AEO.
• Own GTM reporting and ensure unified data across channels and events.
