Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to bring a new Louisville studio to life and partner with ownership to recruit and develop the team, drive pre-launch momentum, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

After launch, you will oversee day-to-day operations, grow memberships, and lead a high-performing team across openings and future locations. The role demands entrepreneurial spirit, strong sales instincts, and a passion for community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or a luxury service environment.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams—ideally across multiple locations or pre-opening contexts.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with initiative and ability to work in a growing, evolving playbook.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others to do the same.
• Highly analytical with ability to build reports, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining momentum.
• Outstanding communicators who connect with clients and team members, making them feel valued.
• Hands-on experience in fitness instruction or coaching is preferred.
• Passion for community building and local wellness/hospitality.
• Willingness to travel for a 5-day Instructor training at a Regional Center.
• Ability to stand/move for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead community building and studio launch activities prior to opening.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop founding Instructor and Studio Lead teams.
• Establish launch readiness, schedules, staffing plans, and operational standards.
• Drive founding membership sales and launch campaigns; coach team on consultative sales techniques.
• Provide regular updates on launch readiness and business performance; identify systems/process improvements.
