Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to lead a new studio from ground up, partnering with ownership to recruit and develop the team, generate community excitement, and ensure operational excellence for a successful launch.

Post-opening, you’ll drive day-to-day operations, membership growth, and client experience, while completing the Instructor Training Academy and maintaining active presence with 25+ class times weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness or comparable luxury service.
• Proven track record leading high-performing teams across locations or pre-opening contexts.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with initiative in evolving playbooks.
• Strong sales instincts with revenue-target coaching experience.
• Highly analytical with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent organizational skills handling competing priorities.
• Outstanding communicator who engages clients and team members.
• Hands-on fitness instruction or coaching experience preferred.
• Passion for community building and local wellness/hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Execute local grassroots marketing and community outreach before opening.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop founding instructor and studio lead teams.
• Lead onboarding and operational training, foster accountability and hospitality.
• Build schedules, staffing plans, and operational standards for opening.
• Drive founding membership sales and oversee pre-sale campaigns.
• Coach the team on consultative sales techniques and track KPIs.
• Provide regular updates to ownership on launch readiness and business performance.
• Support future studio openings and scale the brand.
