Job summary

Stealth Startup is seeking a Founding Deployment Strategist with 3+ years of experience to work directly with customers, guiding deployment, adoption, and scaling of our product. The role spans implementation, customer success, and product strategy, serving as the bridge between customers and engineering.

You will understand customers' workflows, configure the product in their environment, and own the deployment and adoption process while shaping deployment playbooks as we scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Deployment, or similar.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand systems, workflows, APIs, data, and integrations.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Excellent customer empathy and ability to understand complex operational challenges.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco five days per week.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of customers' workflows, systems, and data.
• Design and execute deployment strategies tailored to each customer environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering to configure and integrate product with customer systems.
• Map customer data and workflows into the product and identify automation opportunities.
• Perform basic data cleaning and preparation to get customers up and running quickly.
• Own the customer relationship through initial deployment and adoption.
