Job summary

Weave is hiring its first BDR to build the outbound motion in San Francisco. You will identify CTOs and VPs of Engineering, create urgent conversations, and generate qualified pipeline for AEs and founders.

You will craft human, account-specific messaging and test it across channels, not rely on generic sequences. You will work closely with the founders and GTM team, learning how engineering leaders think, and you will help write the outbound playbook that future BDRs will use.

Qualifications

• Comfort on the phone and ability to open a cold call, ask insightful questions, and earn a next step.
• Strong writing and research skills to justify account outreach in two sentences.
• Curiosity about software engineering teams, AI coding tools, and how leaders evaluate new software.

Responsibilities

• Create qualified pipeline by researching target accounts and engineering leaders.
• Write human-sounding outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Attend events and dinners to start conversations and move interest to pipeline.
• Build and test the outbound playbook, personas, and channels for repeatability.
• Share feedback with founders, marketing, and product weekly.
