Job summary

Weave in San Francisco is seeking its first BDR to turn engineering leaders into qualified pipeline for AEs and founders. You will craft human, account-specific outbound messaging across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels, while learning how engineers evaluate new tools and how AI coding tools impact teams.

You will join a small, hands-on team in person, collaborating with founders and GTM leadership to build repeatable processes and a metrics-driven outbound motion.

Qualifications

• Comfort on the phone and ability to open cold calls, ask useful questions, listen, and earn a next step.
• Strong writing and research skills to justify outreach in two sentences.
• Curiosity about how software gets built and how AI tools affect engineering leadership decisions.
• Good judgment to prioritize meaningful meetings over vanity metrics.
• Resilience in handling rejection and staying organized across many accounts.
• Startup readiness to test ideas and progress without a finished playbook.
• Ability to work in person from our San Francisco office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Create qualified pipeline by researching target accounts and turning cold leads into booked meetings for AEs and founders.
• Write outbound messaging that sounds human across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Attend engineering leadership events and follow up quickly to convert interest into pipeline.
• Build and test the outbound playbook across personas, segments, hooks, objections, and channels.
• Bring prospect feedback to founders, marketing, and product on a weekly cadence.
