Job summary

Artisan AI is hiring the first Business Development Representative to drive outbound pipeline generation. You will work with Ava, the AI BDR, while handling tasks that Ava cannot. This is a foundational GTM role where you own prospecting and meeting-booking for the sales team.

You will be the sole human on the team, engaging prospects, converting conversations into qualified meetings, and sustaining a high-energy, owner mindset in a fast-moving AI startup.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as an SDR/BDR or proven sales craft.
• Excellent communicator with quick rapport building.
• Confident on the phone and comfortable working remotely.
• Resilient, able to handle rejection and stay motivated.
• Willing to be the sole human on the team.

Responsibilities

• You're not joining a BDR team. You are the BDR team.
• Cold call prospects and engage target accounts to generate qualified pipeline.
• Call every inbound lead within minutes of them raising their hand.
• Turn conversations into booked meetings for our AE team.
• Carry a quota of meetings held, not activity metrics.
• Work with our product team to make Ava better.
