Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment is assisting a client to hire a Founding Account Manager in NYC. You will own the full customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal, driving strategic growth and coordinating with Operations, Claims, and Product to ensure seamless execution.

You will report directly to the CEO in a high-impact, high-intensity role and have the opportunity to influence the product roadmap and build the account management function from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Account Management or Customer Success, with insurance/fintech/healthcare/HR systems experience.
• Background in Insurance or InsurTech is highly preferred.
• Experience building playbooks or CS motions from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Lead customer onboarding, building project plans and timelines for go-lives.
• Identify and close expansion opportunities to maximize account value.
• Coordinate with Operations, Claims, and Product to unblock issues and maintain trust.
• Monitor account health, manage SLAs, and lead de-escalation in high-pressure situations.
