Hedge (YC P26) is seeking a founding Account Executive in San Francisco to own the full commercial cycle, from discovery to bound premium and expansion. The role offers a base salary of $110K–$150K with a high upside, including a target OTE of $500K and equity up to 0.75% total potential.

You will build strong relationships with agency owners and leaders, manage a rigorous pipeline, and work closely with brokers, underwriters, and product teams to overcome obstacles and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery, demonstrations, commercial conversations, and close plans with insurance agencies.
• Build multithreaded relationships with agency owners, producers, and operations leaders.
• Convert opportunities into submissions, bound premium, and retained revenue.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline, forecast, and next-step discipline.
• Coordinate with brokers, underwriting, markets, and product to solve obstacles quickly.
• Turn early wins into expansion and a repeatable sales playbook.
