Job summary

Greater DC Diaper Bank is seeking an Institutional Giving Manager to lead day-to-day strategy and management of our institutional fundraising program within the Development team.

The role oversees the full lifecycle of foundation grants—from identifying prospects to reporting and renewal—while partnering with senior leadership to grow a durable funding pipeline and manage government and corporate grant work as needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to craft funder-focused narratives.
• Experience managing institutional grants through lifecycle: research, cultivation, proposals, reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a small team.
• Experience with CRM or donor databases to track relationships and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead institutional fundraising strategy and pipeline management.
• Manage a portfolio of foundation funders and cultivate new prospects.
• Prepare proposals, reports, and stewardship materials.
• Coordinate with Senior Director of Development and Executive Director on major funder engagements.
• Ensure timely grant submissions and accurate CRM records.
