Job summary

Future Caucus seeks a Development Manager to own institutional grants, lead proposal writing, and build scalable fundraising systems. You will manage grant cycles from research to reporting and steward relationships with major funders, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Growth & Impact.

You will guide donor communications, renewals, and growth while aligning opportunities with organizational priorities and ensuring funder compliance. Hybrid work in DC area with a focus on growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of fundraising or grant management experience with multi-year funding.
• Outstanding writing and donor-focused communications.
• Ability to manage deadlines, collaborate across teams and manage complex portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day grant operations including grants calendar and internal stakeholder coordination.
• Lead preparation, writing and submission of high-quality grant proposals and reports.
• Identify and cultivate new institutional funders through prospecting and market intelligence.
• Support renewal and expansion of existing funding relationships and increase gift sizes.
• Partner with senior leadership on donor relationship management and multi-year opportunities.
• Analyze the funding pipeline to surface opportunities, risks, and trends for strategy.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
