Job summary

Dream.Org seeks a Director, Institutional Giving to lead its grant writing, funder outreach, and reporting for institutional funding. Reporting to the VP of Growth & Partnerships, you will manage a high-volume submissions portfolio and ensure timely grants and reports.

The role requires deep experience in nonprofit fundraising, strong relationships with foundations, and independence in managing proposals, budgets, and CRM-driven pipelines.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of grant writing, management, and foundation relationship experience.
• Demonstrated relationships in social justice philanthropy.
• Track record securing six-figure grants as lead author/strategist.
• Experience with revenue planning, forecasting, or KPI tracking.
• Experience developing and reviewing grant budgets with finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead grant writing, prospecting, planning, submissions, and tracking with minimal supervision.
• Produce high-quality drafts for grants, reports, and LOIs for 75+ submissions.
• Own submissions calendar and Asana task boards; drive deadlines.
• Surface obstacles from programs and translate into compelling proposals and reports.
• Ensure compliance with foundation and corporate reporting requirements.
