Job summary

Shatterproof seeks a strategic Director, Institutional Giving to lead foundation and grant-based revenue growth. You will build a strong pipeline, deepen funder relationships, and shape a modern giving strategy aligned to national and regional priorities.

You will partner with leadership to identify opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and translate program impact into investable stories. This role is externally facing and requires a collaborative, fast-moving mindset in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of institutional fundraising or grant strategy experience.
• Demonstrated success securing five- and six-figure grants.
• Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to build pipeline and manage donor relationships across foundations.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute Shatterproof’s institutional giving strategy and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of foundation funding opportunities.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward institutional funders.
• Develop strategic engagement plans for institutional prospects and funders.
• Lead development of grant proposals, reports, concept notes, and stewardship materials.
• Collaborate with program, finance, marketing, and leadership to translate impact into investment cases.
• Track deadlines, pipeline movement, and revenue forecasting.
• Strengthen fundraising systems and donor engagement strategies.
• Maintain donor and pipeline records in CRM systems.
