Job summary

Mammoth Hospital Foundation in Mammoth Lakes seeks a detail-oriented operations coordinator to oversee gift processing, donor database management, and financial reporting. You will support monthly reconciliations and coordinate administrative tasks for the Foundation.

Responsibilities include handling online donations, wiring funds, stock gifts, and checks; maintaining donor records; and coordinating programs and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, finance, communications, or a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in philanthropy, business administration, finance, database administration, office operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience in database management, including running queries and reports, is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with financial data, gift entry, and proofreading, is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Manage all gift processing, including online donations, wire transfers, stock gifts, and physical checks, ensuring accurate database entry and sending timely acknowledgements.
• Assume leadership of the donor database, maintaining accurate records, and producing queries and reports.
• Serve as a financial liaison, preparing monthly documentation, reviewing financial statements, and supporting month-end reconciliation.
• Provide general office and administrative support, including coordinating meeting logistics and recording official minutes.
• Coordinate special giving programs (Grateful Patient, Team Giving) and project manage the Foundation's annual communications schedule.
• Maintain strictly confidential, professional, and trustworthy relationships with donors and hospital partners.
