Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC is seeking a Foster Care Placement Coordinator and Licensor to work from a home office with frequent travel in the Augusta, Savannah, and Athens regions. You will support licensing, placement coordination, and collaboration with referral sources to provide safe, loving placements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services (Master’s preferred), strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to licensing regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or equivalent field.
• Master’s degree in Human Services is a plus.
• At least 1 year of child and family services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state, community and agency resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage diverse community relationships and take initiative.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and licensing of foster parents, including minority recruitment.
• Audit prospective family files to ensure paperwork is complete and not expired.
• Coordinate with referral sources and placing agencies for placements.
• Complete SAFE home study assessments of new and existing families.
• Coordinate placement time/date and complete initial visits with resource families.
• Serve as liaison to caseworkers and supervisors for activities with foster homes.
• Maintain licensing compliance and coordinate relicensing activities as needed.
