Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Licensing Recruiter to license foster homes, conduct trainings, and support ongoing foster care operations. The role involves coordinating placements and maintaining referral networks while ensuring compliance with state policies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field, and a Master’s is preferred. Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, with strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Master’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in foster care or child welfare is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently with high initiative.
• Valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and license foster homes, including trainings and monitor progress.
• Re-license homes, complete annual evaluations, coordinate transfers/closures.
• Conduct post-placement follow-up on foster homes.
• Coordinate placement plans with foster care supervisor.
• Develop and facilitate ongoing foster parent training programs.
• Attend area coalition meetings and foster conferences.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
