Job summary

Wilmington Trust seeks a Forward Deployed Product Owner to lead the employee knowledge management initiative. Hybrid role within the M&T/Wilmington Trust footprint, with remote options if outside footprint.

You will own the EKM backlog, design the platform, and ensure governance across content and lifecycle. The role blends product ownership, content practice, and low-code development in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in business, analytics, digital product, transformation, or related fields.
• Experience designing, administering and improving enterprise content and knowledge platforms, including SharePoint Online.
• Experience building/workflow automation using Power Platform, Appian or similar low-code tech.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into executable solutions with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own the EKM product backlog, writing user stories, acceptance criteria and release-ready requirements.
• Design and administer the EKM platform ecosystem (SharePoint Online, workflows, metadata, search, lifecycle controls).
• Maintain the governed catalog and lifecycle processes with tagging, reviews, and attestation tracking.
• Collaborate with Business lines, Knowledge Asset Owners and SMEs to map processes and drive alignment.
• Support content development, restructuring, editing and quality improvements of procedures and references.
• Leverage AI-assisted capabilities with human validation to accelerate content work.
• Establish dashboards and metrics for content coverage, quality and platform health.
• Own production readiness, QA, UAT, regression testing and long-term stewardship of the EKM solution.
• Post-implementation, assume full operational and technical ownership including enhancements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with risk, regulatory and brand requirements.
