Job summary

Wilmington Trust seeks a Forward Deployed Product Owner to lead the Employee Knowledge Management (EKM) capability within Institutional Services. You will own the backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and align work with business SMEs.

You will design and operate the EKM platform, govern content workflows in SharePoint Online, and apply low-code tools (Power Platform or Appian) to accelerate delivery while ensuring audit-ready controls. This hybrid role is based in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with SharePoint Online and enterprise content management.
Experience building low-code workflows with Power Platform or Appian.
Ability to translate business needs into executable solutions.
Knowledge of metadata, taxonomy and governance.
Experience in regulated financial services environments.
Ability to learn platforms quickly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Own the EKM product backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria.
Design and improve the EKM platform ecosystem including SharePoint Online.
Maintain the governed catalog and lifecycle processes.
Partner with business lines, SMEs and architects to define requirements and drive alignment.
Support content development, editing and improvements of procedural content.
Leverage AI-assisted capabilities with human validation for accuracy.
Establish dashboards and performance measures for content coverage and lifecycle health.
Own QA, production readiness and long-term technical stewardship of the EKM solution.
Post-implementation ownership including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure regulatory compliance.
