Job summary

M&T Bank in Buffalo, NY seeks a Forward Deployed Product Owner for Employee Knowledge Management (EKM) to build and operate the governed catalog of knowledge assets and workflows. You will translate business needs into governed structures and content that hold up under audit, while collaborating with business lines, Knowledge Asset Owners, SMEs and technology teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in business, analytics, digital product or related areas.
Experience designing and improving enterprise content platforms like SharePoint Online.
Experience building workflows using Power Platform or Appian.
Translate business needs into executable requirements with clear docs.
Knowledge of metadata, taxonomy, governance and lifecycle management.
Experience with AI-assisted tools in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Own the EKM product backlog including user stories, acceptance criteria and releases.
Design and administer the EKM platform ecosystem (SharePoint Online, workflows, metadata).
Maintain the governed content catalog, lifecycle processes and reviews.
Collaborate with Knowledge Asset Owners, SMEs and tech teams to map requirements.
Support content development, editing and content restructuring efforts.
Leverage AI capabilities with human validation to accelerate work.
Establish dashboards and metrics for content coverage, quality and lifecycle health.
Ensure QA, UAT, release validation and ongoing operational support.
