Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Product Developer in Forward Deployed Engineering to embed with customers, learn operations, and build production-grade solutions end-to-end. You will own problems from discovery to deployment, collaborating with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and customer stakeholders to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical delivery.
• Hands-on coding in at least one modern language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#).
• Experience in large, unfamiliar codebases and complex environments.
• Demonstrated integration with enterprise systems (APIs, data pipelines, SSO, cloud).
• Direct customer-facing experience across discovery, requirements, design and delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers on-site and virtually to understand operations and pain points.
• Write production-grade software that solves customer problems in their live environment.
• Integrate with Epicor platforms, customer systems, APIs, identity infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Lead the technical path from discovery through deployment and post go-live iteration.
• Navigate legacy systems, ETL pipelines, SSO, security, and regulatory constraints.
• Translate field work into reusable patterns, connectors, and roadmap insights.
• Prototype rapidly, gather feedback, and iterate with users.
• Build and maintain trust with customer engineers, operators, executives, and internal teams.
