Job summary

Databricks AI Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks an AI Engineer to craft GenAI solutions and production-grade AI apps for enterprise customers. You will own end-to-end deployments, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and advise customers across multiple domains.

The role emphasizes hands-on GenAI development, cloud deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP, and clear communication to diverse audiences, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications and deploying production-grade solutions.
• Hands-on data science experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch.
• Experience deploying ML deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions for customer problems.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications.
• Serve as a technical advisor to customers across domains.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and priorities.
• Present at conferences and internal events.
