Job summary

Databricks is seeking a forward‑deployed AI engineer to build and productionize GenAI solutions for enterprise customers. You will own end‑to‑end deployments, collaborate with product and engineering, and advise clients on architecture and best practices.

This role emphasizes hands‑on implementation, customer interaction, and continuous learning. Ideal candidates have strong GenAI experience, cloud deployments, and the ability to communicate complex topics to both technical and non‑technical

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning, etc., with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy
• Expertise in deploying production‑grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimizations
• Extensive years of hands‑on industry data science experience, leveraging common machine learning and data science tools, i.e. pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions and productionize them for clients.
• Own production rollouts of consumer and internall facing GenAI apps.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customers across domains.
• Present at conferences and contribute to product roadmap alignment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to influence priorities.
