Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, a leader in AI-enabled research platforms, is hiring a Delivery Lead to steer a forward-deployed AI pod within its Data & AI organization. You will guide technical direction for agentic AI, run a disciplined intake → build → hand-off delivery model, and build reusable patterns and guardrails with a team of AI Engineers.

You will partner with sponsors across Product, Security, Customer Service, and Operations to ship AI that improves speed, quality, and cost, while

Qualifications

10+ years in software, product, or AI delivery.
3+ years leading teams shipping AI-powered production software.
Hands-on fluency with agentic AI (LLM orchestration, RAG, human-in-the-loop).
Ability to partner with delivery and implementation teams to take enterprise use cases into production.
Strong grounding in responsible AI, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

Lead the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod and roadmap.
Score inbound demand on value/feasibility/data-risk and enforce clean hand-off.
Set technical direction for production agentic systems (LLM orchestration, RAG, human-in-the-loop).
Stand up delivery foundations: evaluation harness, guardrails, observability, reusable patterns.
Own cost-to-serve: model selection, LLM migration, prompt caching, token economics.
Partner with named sponsors to convert use cases into shipped systems.
Scale the capability by seeding a spoke network for wider adoption.
