Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Delivery Lead to head a Forward-Deployed Engineering pod within the Data & AI Organization. You will set direction for agentic AI systems, oversee an intake → build → hand-off workflow, and deliver AI that improves speed, quality, and cost across the enterprise.

You will manage a team of AI Engineers, collaborate with Product, Security, Customer Service, and Operations sponsors, and build reusable patterns and guardrails that accelerate future deliveries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, product, or AI delivery, including 3+ years leading teams that shipped AI-powered production software
• Proven ownership of production AI/ML or generative-AI systems end-to-end from design to production adoption
• Hands-on fluency with agentic AI and related technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod: outcomes, delivery roadmap, team growth and performance
• Run the operating model: value/feasibility/data-risk scoring, time-boxed engagements, clean hand-offs
• Set technical direction for production agentic systems including orchestration and long-running workflows
• Stand up delivery foundations: evaluation harness, guardrails, LLM observability, reusable pattern catalog
• Own cost-to-serve: model selection, small-language-model migration, prompt caching, token economics
• Partner with named sponsors to convert use cases into shipped systems
• Coordinate with strategic delivery vendors while protecting EBSCO IP
• Instrument and report impact on Speed/Quality/Cost/Learning scorecard to SLT
• Scale the capability by embedding champion networks to enable broader delivery
