EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is building a forward-deployed AI delivery capability within the Data & AI organization. We seek a Delivery Lead to guide a pod of AI Engineers, shape the delivery model, and partner with Product, Security, Customer Service, and Operations to ship AI that improves speed, quality, and cost.

You will define reusable patterns, guardrails, and evaluative metrics while working with executive sponsors on day one backlog and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, product, or AI delivery, incl. 3+ years leading teams shipping AI-powered software.
• End-to-end production AI/ML implementations from design to adoption.
• Hands-on fluency with agentic AI: LLM orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering.
• Proven track record partnering with delivery teams to productionize enterprise use cases.
• Strong grounding in responsible AI and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod, owning outcomes and roadmap.
• Score inbound demand on value, feasibility, data risk; enforce clean hand-offs.
• Set direction for production agentic systems incl. orchestration and guardrails.
• Stand up evaluation harness and reusable pattern catalog.
• Own cost-to-serve: model selection, prompt caching, token economics.
• Partner with business sponsors to ship and adopt systems.
• Collaborate with vendors to accelerate delivery while protecting IP.
• Report impact on speed, quality, cost, and learning to SLT.
• Scale capability by growing embedded network of champions.
