Job summary

Texas Workforce Commission, Fort Worth, seeks a Systems Analyst III to join the UIAOS team on-site. The role focuses on desktop, application, and telephony support for staff, plus experience with PowerShell scripting and reporting from multiple databases.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in data processing or systems analysis.
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
• Experience administering, maintaining, and/or programming a telephone system (Avaya, Cisco, Genesys) within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and application support for approximately 1100 users across the UI Division at multiple locations and business areas.
• Provide informal training and orientation to staff on use of assigned computer and telecommunications equipment and applications.
• Open, monitor, and elevate service tickets and coordinate with vendors on repair and replacement of equipment.
• Generate reports based on data from MS SQL, DB2, INFORMIX, etc.
• Develop, test, and deploy automation using PowerShell and/or Visual Basic Scripts (VBS).
• Monitor Avaya telecommunications equipment (Avaya Aura CM, Session Manager, SBC).
• Serve as Property Control Officer (PCO) monitoring equipment inventories.
• Develop and update procedures, job aids, and disaster recovery plans.
• May need to work outside normal business hours and provide on-call activities.
• Physical duties include moving equipment (up to 25 lbs) and team lifting.
