Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF equipment. You will load/unload, stock, pick orders, and maintain safety and cleanliness on shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 3 months of related experience. Ability to work OT and stand for long periods is expected, with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely to receive, store, and ship products.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety protocols while handling equipment.
