Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanning equipment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, picking, and ensuring accuracy and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safety-conscious manner to meet production standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
