Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and related equipment.

You'll work in a high-speed distribution environment, meet production standards, and follow OSHA safety guidelines in a cold warehouse setting. Physical demands include lifting up to 80 lbs, standing long shifts, and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to comply with safety/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack/store merchandise, pick orders, and check for accuracy/damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in OSHA-compliant safety manner.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean workspace.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
