Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to support safe receipt, storage and shipment of food products. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and RF equipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and around 3 months of related experience. Candidates should be able to work overtime as needed and maintain strict adherence to attendance policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in forklift operation is advantageous.
• Ability to meet production standards with a clean, orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage and infestation, and label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack as directed.
• Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and other duties as needed.
