Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF equipment. You will load/unload freight, store merchandise, prepare orders, and maintain safety and cleanliness across the facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and up to 3 months of related experience, with the ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as assigned.
• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick/assemble orders, check for accuracy and damage, label and wrap as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely to meet production standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and meet production targets.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes, and other duties as needed.
