Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely handle receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment to move goods through the facility while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime as needed. EOE.

Qualifications

• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick/assemble orders, check for accuracy, damage, or infestation and label/pack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
