Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using a range of forklifts and RF equipment. The role involves loading/unloading, stacking, picking, packing, and inventory tasks in a controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and up to 3 months of related experience, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and punctual attendance. Overtime and varied shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safety-conscious manner.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
