Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a forklift driver for our warehouse team. You will inspect the forklift, load and unload materials, and help maintain inventory records in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting.

Requirements include at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and passing forklift certification. Safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in dusty, hot or cold conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months forklift experience or related warehouse equipment use.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must pass internal forklift certification training and safety procedures.
• Able to work in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed
